    SANS 10049:2019 Understanding Pre-requisite programs, GMP, Hygiene & Regulations 638
  • Course Description:
    Intervention 1: This implementer level course 1 will equip food safety team members, food handlers, food safety custodians, consultants and general food preparation staff to understand the basics of food safety requirements and food regulations applicable to the food industry of South Africa. The course also includes a free copy of the SANS 10049 standard. Key Areas of learning include: - Understanding PRP’s based on requirements of SANS 10049:2019; - Determination of Critical Control Points - Understanding the basics of Hygiene in a food facility - Understanding the requirements of Regulations 638 for leadership of food facilities The minimum pass is 60% to attain a Successful Completion Digital Certificate and to progress to the HACCP implementers course. Learners with below 60% will be awarded with a Certificate of Attendance.
